Reflections

The Dalai Lamma says that we should thank our enemies for they teach us ways about ourselves that we may never have the opportunity to learn. Consider not just those across the continent that we are told to disapprove of, but your own difficult relationships. What brings discomfort brings our attention towards an aspect of ourself that needs healing. In this place, we are asked to be non-judgmental, honest, and loving. These discoveries are endless.

We are reflections. The beauty we see in others is also the beauty that we see in ourselves. It is recognition of the “wonderful” that exists in our own hearts. To see that beauty in someone and to be a mirror is a loving act and a most perfect relationship. The relationship may only last a few moments, but it gives reason for why we share this world.

Be open to learning about you.
