Rose Island Picnic

Matt and Eva have been each other’s Soul Love for many years.  In fact, they have felt Spiritually Married and knew that this amazing wedding weekend was going to be relaxed, fun and reflect their own personality.  Matt and Eva Westgate wrote their own ceremony that was held at Rose Island lighthouse.  We caught the Newport-Jamestown ferry at 10:30, traveling through fog and haze.  Like kids, we all enjoyed Nora and Kathleen’s tour of the lighthouse.  We climbed through the lanthorn and looked out to the harbor where the Atlantic Cup race was going on.  With newly cleared skies, and a perfect day, the wedding commenced overlooking Fort Adams. The reception was gourmet sandwiches from Seven Stars Bakery, Chelsea’s delicious homemade Lavender Lemonade, salads, Cake and Champagne.  Pictures were done by Jennifer Lamb of Zenobia Photography.  I took the above picture, and Jennifer has an awesome album of Matt and Eva on her site.  It was a special honor for me to be a part of such an intimate group of friends to celebrate Matt & Eva. Before we knew it, we friends gathered our things and jumped onto the last Ferry…. and Matt and Eva stayed behind.
